As the year winds to an end, the requisite best of lists are appearing, and I’m honored that Kathy Fish and Amber Sparks both named The Bee-Loud Glade as one of their favorite reads of 2011.

As for other end of year projects, I’m really enjoying “A Year In Reading” at The Millions, and “The Situation In American Writing” at Full Stop. And looking forward, as always, to the “Tournament of Books” getting underway at The Morning News (big thanks, by the way, to the kind strangers who nominated The BLG for inclusion).

And before too long, it will be time to celebrate the new year with my annual rereading of Sir Gawain & The Green Knight.
